As part of the Innovation Portal Pilot testing group you will be given a WEEBLY Education teacher account to view, organize, and manage your student's online portfolios.   The teacher account allows the teacher to set all student work at a private setting level that cannot be accessible to the public. We highly suggest that you set your accounts at this setting to begin.  It can be changed at any time. You and your students will be able to access and manage your accounts online from any computer,  so working from home is not a problem.  There is no software needed as this process uses WEEBLY's  drag and drop server side software to create the web pages.

As mentioned in the background information, we are asking that you and your students present your work using the same uniform template. (see "How to build the template")  This template is built around the Engineering Design Portfolio Guide and Assessment Rubric.  ( also see the last instruction in the "How to build the Template" page to access the rubric)     This rubric has been organized around the design process and developed with the input of dozens of post secondary institutions and industry partners.   The rubric is meant to be a tool for both you and your students to use in conjunction with this portfolio creation site throughout the course of the project as well as a structure for the organizations mentioned to build their competitions and scholarship opportunities around.

If you have been invited to participate but have not been given a username and password for your teacher account , please email the Innovation Portal Director, Mark Schroll at [email protected] with a request for your "Teacher account".  Please include your first and last name and school's  name.   You will receive an email notification that your account has been activated, how to access it,  and how to add students to your roster.
